Biography:
Northern Frost was formed by Ineluki (Vocals, Lyrics, Guitar) and Suizidaer (Drums, Lyrics) in March 2004. Both members want to
create good Old Northern BM with atmosphere influenced by the Scandinavian Scene. Before NF Ineluki played also in another well known
German Underground BM-Band. Ineluki had lots of ideas and riffs, so the time was right for a new step in his musicial career.
Luckily he met Suizidaer, both became close friends. So Northern Frost was born. The first year the band reheared a lot and the first
3 songs were composed. In February 2005 they entered the “Forte Fortissimo”-Studios in Coburg and recorded the
first MCD “Ewige Kälte”, which came out over Fog of the Apocalypse in 2007 (500 copies), also it was released by
Kassetten Edition Dreizack on Tape (500 handnumbered copies). Exaclty a year later they entered the same studio again
with mighty Lord Istraphagor from Wintergate to record the Split-CD “…of Darkness and Hate”. This one was released
by “W.E.Mi.D.D.N.”.(300 handnumbered copies). NF try to create a perfect mixture of German and Northern BM with a personal note.
The lyrics deal with different topics like the hate towards Christianity, Mankind, but also personal dreams and visions are part of them.
For the band it is important to record their songs with a good and professinell sound. Anyhow the band is much deeply
rooted with the Underground Black Metal-Scene and Ideology. At the moment Northern Frost work on their first full-length.
6 Songs are nearly completed. For this album we are just looking for a dedicated label which is interested in releasing
it on CD/LP. We are also very much interested in a LP-Version of the Northern Frost/Wintergate-Split-CD. In November 2009
re-release of the Northern Frost / Wintergate Split “...of Darkness and Hate” as Pro-Tape by Apocalyptic Art.
